I always wondered too, about people's fascination with it I mean, but then I watched this really neat documentary about homosexuality in the movies.

Straight teenagers have access to rolemodels 24/7 when it comes to heterosexuality, but for gay teenagers it's more of a struggle. Finding out someone you admire is gay is a big deal when you yourself are gay, you know?

yes, but I think it shouldn't be such a guessing game... I can't believe how many 'is adam lambert gay?' articles I saw online and then 'omg! adam lambert is gay!' when he finally officially came out.

For some people, I suppose it's a fascination and interesting for various reasons, but for me, I don't really care about their sexuality. It's not a factor to me, so I guess I don't get why people focus so much on it.

I totally agree it goes overboard. Like I said, I get why young gay people cling to hope that their idol is like them but more often than not it's just some random straight person going, "omg he looks gay... is he gay?" XD;

I've never been much for celebrity gossip to start with so I'll join you in the "what the fuck ever" corner :)
